Stuart Clark - the new Andy Bichel ?

Not so long a go he did pretty well in the Ashes (2003) scored a few runs too, only to be dropped for Brett Lee (fourth test ?) for no apparent reason. His fate ? I dont think he played in the test side again and had to play for Worcs ! Will the same happen to Stuart Clark ?

No.

Clark looks a far better bowler than Bichel ever was,i would say he is a natural new ball replacement for McGrath should he decide to retire after the 5-0 walloping they give us.

Stuart Clark is the new Glen McGrath.

Bichel was a very ordinary test bowler.
After 2003 Kasprowitz came in and did a much better job.

Clark got man of the series against S.A. over there earlier this year (20 wickets at 15.85) so his performance this series is not a once off.

As an Englishman looking on the bright side Clark is already over 30 so he'll probably only torment us for another 3 ashes .

LOL... though with Mitchell Johnson the other end he looks set to be the lynchpin of a very impressive new ball pairing for the forseeable future
