He was a gutsy cricketer, decent part-time bowler and a not bad at all fielder. Shame his batting didn't live up to all that potential in tests. In ODIs, he was pretty good, I remember his last ball 6 against Waugh to tie a game at Hobart that Pakistan had all but lost.
