The count so far is,over 3 days of cricket,80 overs have been lost - The newspaper gives a report about the South African coach being furious.

Another reason being that the 3rd test to be played at newlands.Heard its going to be a batting track. Maybe the work order would change now

2 quick wickets for India. thats good news for SA as it brings Gibbs to the crease. SA need quick runs and hopefully Gibbs can smack the bowling around again.

As for Amla, I think that he needs to be dropped now. He is a good player but he need to learn to play straight early on otherwise he will be out LBW every time. He can try those wristy ficks later in his innings. Kallis MUST bat at 3. Amla needs to sort out his problem in the provincial leagues

Smith and Prince gone now. Its that man Sreesanth again. SA in a spot of bother here. I think that it might be good for the game if SA get bowled out as I feel that Smith is too "chicken" to declare early.

Amla I think should stay in the team.Good point there that he must play straight. And another reason why he's here is that Kallis is not playing this match.

Sreesanth has been in amazing form in this series. He picked up 5+3 wickets in the first game and 4+3*

South Africa are collapsing at 140/5,both new batsmen at the crease - Pollock and Mark Boucher.

(* this innings isn't complete yet)

Yes, it could be blessing in disguise for SA. Quick wickets mean 1. The wicket is getting difficult to bat on and 2. SA has more time bowl India out.

I cant watch the match. So can anyone tell me how the pitch is behaving now? Is there any swing?

Finally Smith has done something right. I figure that SA will have at least 75 overs to bowl India out, unless rain intervnes tomorrow. That means that we have at least 74 overs to get 9 wickets (Sehwag will gift wrap his wicket in the 1st over, if he faces)

India IMO cannot win from here but can they hold out for the draw. I think that Dravid and Laxman hold the key here. Even Jaffer perhaps as he can bat for long periods.

This match has been interestingly set up. 350 is the target. Can India survive?

I can't help feeling that Boucher is batting one place too high at six, with a batting average of only 30. I think he should be at seven, and the saffers should include another specialist batsman.
