Basically is this bad planning or just bad luck?
I think it's very bad planning , we have had this same bad light problem before.

Thumbs down

It was really a bad start to the innings and it all went downhill . The crucial wicket was Dravid yesterday . He got hard done . First of the two bad decisions . Sreeshanth was hard done . Sreeshanth for all his bubbling over enthusiasm ( at times ) seems to be at the wrong end of everybodys opinion .

I would like for Mr. Asad Rauf's umpiring to be reviewed under heavy scrutiny . He seems to be of the opinion that Sreeshanth is in the wrong all the time and he seems to be often invovled in arguments with him . In the end Sreeshanth also got a bad decision .

But those were all things that we would have overlooked had the top order shown some stomach for the fight . Too bad. All the big guns failed in the II innings ..Sachin , Sourav , Laxman , Sehwag ..... Dravid was hard done but it triggered the collapse. Dhoni's shot was absolutely unbelievable. Thats not a good head he has on his shoulders for a time like that . Very disappointing .....

I was enjoying watching G.Smith and co stewing in their juices as India were wasting time playing for bad light. But fortunately, justice was done - i hate it when teams try to hide behind bad light. S.A deserved that victory. I was particularly impressed with Nel.
Good for the series - i look forward to watching the next test actually

Kallis would come in, but who would he replace? Hall is far more useful than Amla...why dont they give Duminy or van Jaarsveld a try? No sense in bringing in a spinner. Indian batsmen will find him to their liking. Morkel should be continued with...by the way, whats Nantie Hayward upto these days...and what about Ngam?

You definitely deserved it. SA played better cricket than India in a match that lost 20 over daily to bad light. Well played SA.
