More bad luck for England. Symonds survives an axiomatic LBW decision. Dear God!! One point I will make is that we saw 2 phenominaly bad LBW non decisions yesterday. The first was Collingwood getting away with one and I said at the time he must take advantage. Sadly he didn't. The 2nd was hayden dead as a dodo on less than 10. The difference was he has turned his into a 100. That is an indication of why the aussies are better than us at the moment. They are brilliantly ruthless.

England looked like they could really take the game by the scruff of the neck in the first session, now some decisions go against them and they get deflated and just let the game flow. When decisions go against Aus they get back to the game, and keep pkugging away to make things happen.

So we can ignore the extraordinary whinging about just 2 I repeat 2 decisions at Trent Bridge in 2005 can we? Lets hope so. This implies that horror of horrors you might have to admit you were beat fair and square that time. Also no whinging about sweets on the ball causing reverse swing? Also no captains stomping back to the hutch SHOUTING at the England management they were and I quote " a bunch of ********* cheating C***s? You Aussies are remarkably good at accepting the bad decisions when they go in your favour. Even you must admit that you are not so clever when they go against you are you? Either way what can't be disputed is the aussies are well on top and cruising to 4-0. Perhaps if we jump around, put our hands on our heads, suck our cheeks in and put a really good disbelieving face on when a obvious not out is given we might get a few. Or maybe if Monty gets a hair transplant, bleaches it and his skin Rudi might get his finger up!!

Sounds like we will now be hearing ad nauseum about the bad decisions against England Personally disappointed at the time of the decisions at Trent Bridge, but such is life and life goes on. As for the issue of specialist fielders well it worked for England, if it is in the spirit of the game I have my doubts but as I say life goes on.

Hang on a second Glenn. I have pointed out that the aussies were by far the best side here and have deserved to win by miles. All I'm saying is when it comes to bad decision comments you lot are bigger whingers by about a kazillion miles!! Yet you call us whinging poms!! As for life going on I agree but you guys didn't at the time did you? Just wonder if you lot had been dealt our hand this time. Check out the archive and you will see that you lot were crying like a baby with his rattle taken away!! As for life goes on after the decisions at Trent Bridge you say that now you have the ashes back but wasn't the same strory at the time was it? Finally, and this is my most serious point, one thing I won't accept is any aussie lecturing an Englishman on the spirit of the game Your hero SK Warne is the leading wicket taker of all time. Is it in the spirit of this or any game to take a performance enhancing masking drug, receive a 50% ban despite conclusive evidence, show off like a spoit child when any dedcision goes against him? Two things to note here; first you still haven't admitted you got beat fair and square in 2005 and you aussies are also remarkably quiet when it comes to your golden boy's deserved and completly justified drugs ban!!

hayden and symmonds really taking the game away from England here. Typical aussies; when they get on top they don't let up. thats one of the reasons they're the best in the world!!

Australia proving once more they are a far superior side.England have had chances again in this game and failed to take them much like in Adelaide and Perth.Whether it is poor captaincy or just poor play it doesn't really matter but we have been found wanting when it matters. Well done Symonds on his ton,can't congratulate Hayden as he was out last night but the plank Koertzen once more gave a poor one against us.
| |||
Easy Greg. You're not allowed to mention decisions you know The aussies wont admit that happens!! If you were you could have Monty had Symmons dead about 2 hours ago but they tell me it evens itself up. Only concelation is it should be the end of Rudi "wish a was an aussie" Koertsen.

Symmonds about to get 150. Surely the easiest score of this type since Gillespie got 200 against Bangladesh. Really poor as we had a real chance against them. Blown it again. Some one has to carry the cans back on this one. Hayden gone. All too late sadly.

Are you sure Rudi? He only hit the cover off it? Worse trouble for us as Symmonds and Gilly together.
