Bowling Plans Stolen

A controversy brewing in Melbourne as England's bowling plans were stolen from their dressing room and leaked to the press.

Some might say this is an atrocious invasion of privacy and should not be allowed to happen. Personally looking at the way we bowled to Symonds I'm surprised we had any plans at all

Seems , one of the seven plans got leaked in the media.
were the rest of the 6 what we saw on the second day ?
Or did we see all seven of them ?
Comes in at a very inappropriate time

The cynic in me thinks the Aussies have reverted to type by taking the plans from the England dressing room.

A link to this story click here .

South Beds - I have heard comments like yours on the BBC News Website, and while I reserve all judment until we know the facts your comments don't hold water.

How many people had access to these plans, this is the key to wheather the leak was significant or not, also the plan to get Hayden if you read the link - was quite a decent plan.

Your right Ernest, I am sure England had a bowling plan to bowl to Symonds - just no one told the bowlers

England bowled the right way to Symonds at the beigining, fair to say he was lucky to survive the first over, he probably would not have done had hayden not gone and had a word with him after two of the wildest shots I have ever seen.

Symonds only had an average of 20 or so in Test cricket, but everyone knows just what he can do on his day, and when it is his day - no plan, no field settings will make a scrap of difference.

Quite a lot of possibilities:

1. England deliberately leaked the plan to put Australia on the wrong track while they follow some other plan. Thats smart.
2. Australia bribed someone to get the plan as their batsmen were scared. Likely.
3. England deliberately leaked the plan to the media in order to convince people that they are actually planning. Thats even smarter.
