They booed Warney and Symonds when they came out to bat.
Bad form.
As long as they are nice and sod off home when the summer is over, I don't really mind the stupid chanting.

England were NEVER in a winning position to win the second test, when they finished their first innings,at 554,you could have said, they were in a unlooseable position, but NEVER,NEVER,in a winning position.

Perhaps you could enlighten my thoughts as to the time when YOU thought they were in a winning position,I'm always willing to learn something.

If Giles had caught Ponting on 35 they would of been in a very good position. The Aussie's would have it all to do. So England were a wicket away from being in charge but thats cricket sometimes you get the breaks.
The fact is Australia have been the far better side and England had one brief chance and they didn't take it.

Crickets a tough game the more chances you create the more you win.

Very good point Acker. You might not get all the appeals (certainly if your names matthew hoggard) but you just have to go out and create more chances.

England did create chances they made 550 runs they took three wickets cheaply and they had the chance of taking another wicket. Once Ponting was given a life, him and Hussey took their chance and batted Australia out of trouble. From that England never recovered and the gap between the sides widened, England have not looked at races since but believe me when Ponting skyed that ball to Giles England had a big chance.
