The man of the series award is quite difficult to award with many spectacular performances by many people in a particular series.Don't you think it would be a good idea to award the man of the series using a points system like what we have for the World-A-Team fantasy cricket.

Points system may not always give us correct results. If one allocates 1 point for 50 runs and if a batsman scores a crucial 49, its unfair not to allocate any points for the score.

Point is with points and rules,line is meant to be drawn.There are always performances below the line which seem more significant than the ones on the other side of the line.MVP and man of the series are one such awards where human intervention is a must
