Unfortunately I am at work so I am "watching" the cricinfo commentary. They Had Humayun Farhat down batting but I see they changed it now. Sorry for the confusion.

5th over: Another good ball from Ntini to start off. Single off the next, played through the covers. 3 slips and gully in. Big appeal from Ntini for an LBW, next ball. Probably too high and may be marginally outside off too. Next ball left alone. Ohh, Hafeez wasn't comfortable there. Single Taken of the last ball, through the off side. 15-0.

Why don't you tune into radio 2000? They have some good commentators there: Aamir Sohail, Neil Manthorpe, and some other names I am not going to break my head thinking of now!

6th over: Sidescreen problems for Hafeez to start off. No run of the first ball, played straight to mid on. Next ball, good bounce, left alone. Third ball also outside off, left alone again, easily. Ramiz thinks Nel's probably bowling just the wee bit too short. I think its too soon to tell now. Next one defended with a straight back, Imran wants a run, but its not there. Next one played on the leg side, straight to a fielder. Maiden over. 15-0.

Did you just mention Aamer Sohail and the phrase good commentator in the same sentence?

Next over: Played by Hafeez between the vacant fine leg and mid on region for a well run two. Change of the strike off the next ball, single taken on the leg side. Wide one from Ntini to Farhat next ball, quite short, but let alone easily. Next ball of fuller length, Farhat defends of the front foot, no run. Next one outside off, left alone. Too full, again, but not hit of the full face of the bat, Farhat gets a couple through the covers. End of over, 20-0, Pakistan off to a decent start in the first half an hour.

Next over: Nel continues. Through the gully and point region for four in the air, four for Farhat. Decent ball next up. Defended for no run. Pollock warming up in the background. Next ball straight to point, no run. Straight to mid off next ball, no run again. Defended of the front foot again, straight back to the bowler, no run. Played for no run straight to mid on this time. End of the over. 24-0. I'm off to have lunch now.

Aw come on...At least he speaks his mind!

Looks like a very good batting strip. If Pakistan can bat till tea tomorrow...Anyhow, Pollock has replaced Ntini. Lets see if he can do something else for the Proteas...

Nice to see you back, Zainub. I forget the last time I saw you posting so actively here.

I've just realised that I can watch this very game now thanks to the wonders of Sky. Looking good for Pakistan so far. Not convinced that Pakistan have a good enough bowling line up to roll over the Saffers twice, but with Asif there, there's still a chance.

Glad to see Andrew Hall in there still - great player. Hope to see Hashim Amla do well, having taken time out to talk to WAT in the past.

Morning all,

Was anybody able to confirm definitively if it is Hall or Harris who is in the XI?

Cricinfo still has Hall in the line-up. Personally, I would plump for Harris, because I feel the selection of Hall would be a more defensive option, to lengthen the batting.

Yes Mike. I am very confused. Did you see that cricinfo had Humayun Farhat instead of Imran Farhat. Is Harris and Hall on the field. Can one of our friends watching on tv confirm that HAll actually is on the field as cricinfo could make a mistake.
