I think the pitch is gonna behave slightly differently and more in favor of batsmen as the play goes on so a 100 run lead may or may not be sufficient after all. Had Akmal survived, I would've hoped a 200 lead just to be on the safe side but at this point I think Pakistan is dangerously vulrenable.

Well Inzamam-ul-Haq is the only recognised batsman at the crease, but he can bat very well indeed and I expect him to get a few runs, but Ntini and Kallis look pretty dangerous with the ball.

whinging pom, can you tell me, why is Inzamam batting so low in the order? I believe Mahmood Sami cam in before him.

Even though the Inzamam chance was tough, ive seen Boucher drop alot of catches. There were a couple of missed opportunities when Ponting went on to get hundreds. Infact neither keepers behind the stumps have looked entirely convincing this series.

Arrogant aussie, I think it was something to do with Yousuf's dismissal. That's why Akmal was in so high, because Inzamam couldn't come in before a certain time, and Yousuf was dismissed before he was allowed in. It happened during the India series as well.

Haha, ok thanks WP. Why wasn't Inzi allowed out before a certain amount of time?

Frustrating. This is when you wonder why your a cricket fan it brings heartache. how many for the last wicket.
And than a luck break Akhtar doesn't take the field and things look a little bit brighter again.

have I stepped into an episode of Only Fools and Horses?

The last wicket stand was a bit of a killer for South Africa, Inzamam-ul-Haq was clever and steered the strike, and it was unfortunate that he didn't get a century.

If Amla and Kallis can stay together for a while longer they can begin to take the sting out of the attack.

Wink

Well that didn't happen.

Devilliers isn't looking test quality either. When did he last make 50+? His technique needs some modifying. But i guess he has Smith making him look good at the other end
