Quite right, Ninj. Just as a jury tries the alleged offence, and not the alleged offender (therefore is generally not allowed to know of any previous record), so the umpire should review the incident, not the batsman.

Take the umpires decision, its up to the individual to walk if they want but I don't. The umpires don't like walkers.
