What happens if WADA gets Shaoib's drugs ban re-imposed ?

This is the situation at the moment, and i am having trouble finding more updated info.

http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/paki...ry/275175.html

The Court of Arbitration for Sport said on Thursday it was likely to rule on the World Anti-Doping Agency's appeal against the lifting of bans on Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif within four months.

I have some questions regarding this issue.

Is Acktar still deriving any positive effects from the steroid Nandrolone while playing this test. Is he bowling so fast because he is still "doped". Is there any way to tell one way or another? Is he still being tested?

If WADA wins the case and Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have their bans re-imposed, then will their test wickets and runs compiled since the original ban still stand?

Will any victories won by Pakistan while those two players were playing still stand, or will Pakistan be officially stripped of the wins?

Will players that are dismissed by Shoaib, or teams beaten by a Pakistani team containing Akhtar and Asif have the right to sue for loss of income if WADA win it's appeal?

The appellate committee headed by a retired judge last month overturned the bans on the grounds that both players did not take the substances knowingly: Is ignorance a defense? It most certainly is not under Australian law, and to my knowledge, International law. So why does it apply in this case?

Has the ICC taken action or considered applying a uniform procedure for when this situation arises again? A situation where one country (Australia) bans one of it' players (Warne) for a year, yet another country lets their players off scot free even though they took a far more serious substance. Or are the ICC once again doing nothing to adress this issue?

Can the next player busted with steroids in his system also be able to plead ignorance and expect to be cleared, now that the precedent has been set?

Will this issue have a adverse effect on the reputation of the PCB, or will the whole issue be forgotten?

These are some of the thoughts popping into my head over this issue after noticing with some surprise that Acktar is playing again.

Anyone else have any thoughts or answers on this issue?

Watching Akhtar yesterday I couldnt help but wondering what all might be running in his veins, if he was still getting help from those drugs. I am feeling cheated and helpless about it. PCB not only allowed them to play again, they didnt even bother to conduct a second test to see if there are traces still left in their system. They just invited them to play. Nonsense and irresponsible.

I cant believe it is happening on todays date. Two players who are known to have taken drugs are playing and no one can stop them. What kind of a world we are living in?

If the WADA's appeal find Shoaib and Asif guilty then the ICC and the PCB are going to look very stupid and will both have lost what little credibility they have in the rest of the cricket world.

If the PCB really wanted to play them before the hearing then they should have re tested them and proved it was out of their (Asif and Shoaibs) system.

I wonder what the PCB's reaction will be if the court of arbitration finds Asif and Shoaib guilty?
