I meant that in ODIs the umpires are much stricter with wides. Quite a few balls from Harmison and Plunkett went down leg side which would had been wided in ODIs.

IMO niether of the Hinds' are good enough, but i dont see anyone the Windies have who is anywhere near good enough.

The WI could do a lot worse than draft Pedro Collins into thier team. At least he has a bit of class about him. Does anyone know why he was left out of the tou party??

That has bee suggested, but I think Politics would mean that neither player gets the nod.

Brian Lara did not retire voluntarily, the board wanted him out, I doubt they will want him back, as for Samuels the allegations of match fixing are hanging over his head, and a very poor World Cup will mean I doubt he will get a call up.

Having said that, I have no idea who they will pick!!
