It's fairly unexciting stuff. Hopefully KP will liven things up a little. They keep going on about how Cook is playing the ball outsdide the off stump so much better than he was during the winter. I believe it's a lot easier when you know you're going to get a few balls to score off every now and then. Against the Aussies during the winter the examination he got outside his off stump was so relentless he was forced into playing at some of them. Only against that type of bowling is one tested. There aren't many bowlers around capable of that sort of examination: Mohammed Asif and Shaun Pollock outside of Australia spring to mind. |

| Pietersen out - 132-3 - and off a bouncer.

| KP had one of those silly moments he needs to stop having if he wants to get to World #1 and stay there. Colly and Cook now, isn't that exciting? |
| ||||
| Poor shot by KP but i guess it is too much to expect another ton out of him.We need Cook to bat all day now and build a partnership with Colly. |
| ||||
| Sadly not, Cook goes. 132/4 and this is disappointing from England. Come on Colly and Bell, play sensibly and build a big partnership. |

| The Windies plan of letting the England batsmen get themselves out has worked thus far this afternoon. Tight(ish) bowling from Collymore and Sammy has done the trick. For the first time this series England are under some pressure. Time for Bell, Collingwood and Prior to show what they are all about. This, for me, will be a test of Prior - coming in when there are loads on the board is easy, this could be more difficult. |

| If only they had bowled like this in the first hour and they would be well on top now.Those 60 odd runs that they conceded in that hour might be crucial later in the game if the pitch plays some tricks. |
| ||||
| True - I think had I been captain and won the toss, I would have had a bowl, either the Windie's have improved beyond belief, or is this a normal England batting collapse?.

| I think that the England camp are banking on the fact that the pitch isn't going to improve so they wanted to bat first on what isn't the best track of the summer even if it looks ok. Well that is my take on it,probably wrong though. |
