Is it just me or are umpires getting blinder these days? First ball from Panesar straight in front hit the pad, later showed to be hitting middle stump half way up...yeah that's not out.

India have shown the way to bat - despite some good (and at times hostile) bowling from England, they have held firm.

At the moment we are seeing some good batting and bowling, and as type Tremlett gets Jaffer out with a very good delivery.

Interesting with 10 minutes to go before tea, England would like to see the back of Dravid before he gets going.

India have won all the sessions in this match so far. The opening partnership came as a surprise to me. I cant recall the last time I saw the Indian openers do this good a job. The Indian middle order have now a very good foundation to build on.
