Oh Dear,

Get ready for Rachael. Prior puts down the great man. He was on 20, how many will it cost us I wonder? Just goes to show if you're going to start opening your trap you better have some ability to back it up!!

What price a Sachin 100 now?

Every chance. And, once more, the policy of having a muppet behind the stumps as opposed to a proper wicket-keeper will be questioned - and rightly so.

Prior's not had much good press since the Windies series. He was terrible at Edgbaston in the Twenty20 on Saturday too. Wonder if he's really up to it when the pressure's on?

Note: Geraint Jones keeping on Saturday was certainly better than Prior's. Was his sledging as good though?

We all know he will get the 2 winter tours but he can't keep on making elementary mistakes if he wants a long career as it isn't as though we are short of decent keepers who can bat a bit.

The issue will always come down to the question of runs scored. And with Tremlett and Sidebottom at eight and nine we can't really blame them, can we? (I'm not really advocating selecting muppets behind the stumps, just suggesting that I can understand the policy).

Actually, I hope not, He is playing badly and does not deserve a 50 in this innings, let alone a century. I don't think Tendulkar has exorcised the personal demons that seem to be plaguing him off and on in the last few years.

Ganguly has just been given out lbw off a big inside egde. I am sure that Notts Exile will soon come up with a satisfactory explanation. More 'evening out' perhaps and if we look hard enough, we will probably find the incident where Ganguly got the benefit of doubt 10 years ago.

Nostromo, no offense mate, but EVERYBODY mouths off when a decision doesn't go their team's way. I mouthed off not so long ago when Panesar could've took a wicket first ball he bowled in the 2nd Test and the umpire turned it down. It happens, because we have umpires instead of computers calling the shots

Give it a rest! Ganguly was very unlucky. Three poor decisions in his last two innings now, one to his advantage at Trent Bridge and two against him - one each at Trent Bridge and The Oval.

I suppose you'll suggest the umpires are being biased in favour of England. Have you got rid of thise chips yet??

I was never a chip man....all that fried stuff is not good for one's health you know....

But I thought you might want to know this. Shortly before close of play today, I was listening to the commentary Radio 4 driving home from Calne to Wootton Bassett, a journey of 13-14 minutes. During that time, the commentators mentioned Tendulkar's dropped catch no less than 9 separate times and Gooch went on about how this could cost England the match, series, the crown and God knows what else. But neither of the 2 dodgy dismissals was mentioned even once.

No one is being biased here. It is just poor umpiring. I have a feeling some decisions will go against England as well. Then I hope NE will not complain. With all due respect, in this series whether you like it or not, India have received the very poor decisions and bringing up "would be LBW's" does not make it fair. Its part of the game. Why dont both of you stop complaining about past decisions. NE, how do you explain Pietersens decision when he was wrongfully allowed back on the field. We did not see you complaining then. Anyway back to the game. I think England could have done better with Broad or Caddick in for Anderson for this game. Caddick would have been worth the risk. Remember Bicknell in 2003 against SA. I have said before that Anderson is not a international bowler. I am amazed that he has played as any games as he has. He can only bowl on greentracks (but then again, so can any bowler). His average of 37 makes me wonder how some people here claim that he can be the best bowler for England or how talented he is. All I ever here is "on his day" with Anderson. Well on his day, Giles would be able to take a five for. I think England would be better off investing their time on Mahmood or Broad. India are in a strong position. Iwas really impressed with Sidebottom. He bowled well and was unlucky. Prior needs to go asap(Rachael will elaborate this point soon). Tendulkar is batting really poorly. I have never seen him struggle so much before. I think England can remove him early tomorrow. Dhoni wont last too long so England are not yet out of it. I would have liked to have seen Karthik stand keeper and Yuvraj in for Dhoni. India can only lose if they play poorly IMO.
