Wrong Cric info?

This statement appeared in cric.info recently, but it is wrong.

The lowest average for someone who scored a Test double-century is 22.64, by Pakistan's Wasim Akram, just ahead of the Australian Syd Gregory (24.54) and Faoud Bacchus of West Indies (26.07)

As far as I know, it is Jason Gillespie at 18.73.

Has Gillespie 'officially' retired? If not, his record probably would not be included in any comparison of career averages. Theoretically, the average of any player who hasn't retired could change, and hence such measures often exclude players whose careers are still in progress. This is the approach any statistician would take, and is probably Wisden's approach too.

Of course, this is a moot point in Jason's case since he is unlikely to get many more Tests, and if he does, to significantly increase his batting average... but is that really any more unlikely than his scoring 200 in the first place!

You are right technically Maranello, but the realistic chances of Gillespie playing another Test for Oz, let alone bat well enough to raise his average above 22.64 are extremely remote.
