South Africa New Zealand 2nd Test Nov 16-Nov20

South Africa fighting back after a poor morning. Fleming just through his wicket away tilting the days play completely in favour of the home side.

I've been watching this match, and i only needed one over to see that South Africa is going to hammer the Kiwis this test.
How quick is that wicket, and how quick is Steyn bowling! Add in the movement off the wicket with all those cracks and the extra grass.....the Kiwis were always going to struggle with the bat on a wicket like this. And to lose Bond and Oram for this game just seals the deal.

Credit to Flemming, Cumming and Vincent for showing a bit of guts and fight though dealing with the newer ball. The ball is getting older now and not flying as much as it was earlier, so Vettori better make hay while the sun shines.

All the factors are in favour of SA the NZ injuries etc.
But I did think Fleming and Mcullum got out rather easily. Making SA task easier than it might of been.

Off for bad light.

I cannot believe how badly Steyn bombed that hattrick chance

Still the guy has bowled magnificently today, and definitely would have given the Aussie batsmen a run for their money had they been playing.

That's probably it for the day, and probably a good thing. It is hard enough out there as it is with good light

Dale Steyn looks a fine bowler now and will no doubt give any side in the world problems on this form.South Africa are building a strong side again but you do wonder about the batting should they come up against a good bowling line up as the likes of Amla aren't up to international cricket.

Alma and Kallis doing the right thing and have put SA in the box seat. They have done the hard work for the later batsmen.

Kallis amd Amla putting SA on course. Anything more than a fifty lead on this pitch is a big advantage. So with a batsmen down unless a couple of Kiwi's can play a blinder the end is nigh.

Well S.A are going to rack up a far bigger lead that 50. 250 is the more likely

Good to see that the mouth-from-the-south, G.Smith, is still batting like an old woman

Yes,his average in his last 16 tests is 32.6

He has been found out by bowlers worldwide and you can't see him coming through it at present.
