India vs Pakistan 1st test

The one day series went as expected. Pakistan does not look good right now. Their batting looks too fragile. Yusuf and Yunis are the only two batsmen looking good. I expect India to comfortably win the test series as well.

Wishful thinking?

India is capable of anything.
Loosing the series is one of them.

Pakistan 3 for fifty something at lunch, Kumble just struck with a wicket prior to the break.

I'm watching it on "Setanta Sports"

The pollution/smog in Kanpur is a disgrace, its like a thick fog.

What a great bowling performance by India so far.Pakistan in dire trouble at 89-5,well done the umpires too who have been superb so far with so many close shouts that they have got correct, then again Koertzen isn't there.

Indeed. Good thing that the match is in Delhi then, isn't it?

PS: what you see on the ground is not smog, its fog - not uncommon in the Punjab and neighbouring places in early winter.

Its not Kanpur, its New Delhi, India's capital and its not polution, its fog. New Delhi is known for the winter fog. I stayed there for a few years and I remember think fog cover with almost zero visibility as late as 9 in the morning. Its not so bad these days.

Good recovery by Pakistan but still a pretty poor batting display overall.

Misbah and Sami showing the top order how to bat in test matches. India bowled with discipline but it was more bad batting from Pakistan. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.
