| Agreed about Gavaskar and Manjrekar. In fact, where is Manjrekar these days? He was pretty good, and as you say, unbiased. The best ever sports commentator on Earth and Venus? Murray Walker!! Pity that he never did cricket, but the game would probably have been played in Outer Mongolia if Walker had been a cricket commentator! |

| Jack banister. Never have I heard a commentator put the kiss on englands sporting prowess more than him (expect brian moore in france 98). He's got a whiney voice and contradicts himself all the time (even more than me). Mark Nichlos (now also polluting EA cricket) is a smarmy git and dont like him much either. Dermot reeve was patchy but that might have been due to a nostril full of charlie whiz. I quite like henry but not in isolation. His pointless banter in scatchy longwave always seems so quintessentially english I let him off - but only when he's got someone else along side him who knows what they are on about.

| TONY GREIG...no one else comes close...just shocking errors in judgement every session he is on. Don't hear Henry Blofeld in Australia thankfully these days...but sounds like he has not improved. Mark Nicholas is OK but he is only there for the 'chick factor' as Mr Benaud is 'not sexy' as he once was! |

| A dead heat between Holding and Lloyd. Holding oblivous to his own arrogance. Lloyd a 50+ old man behaving like one of the barmy army.

| Worst TV is Nicholas for sheer sycophancy; worst radio CMJ by several light years. For years he has been giving it the old " and hes caught at slip....oh no...wait a minute...it didn't carry...I don't think...or did it?" or his classic "nudged in to the covers A RUN OUT SURELY!!!...............................and they complete an easy single". I wonder how many car accidents hes caused down the years? |

| I cannot stand Mark Nicholas for the reasons outlined by others above. I wonder how long it'll be before the Aussies give him the passport he so desperately craves. His brown-nosing of Andrew Symonds must make Symonds sick. It is foul. Anyway, my favourite combination of commentators is when you get the one-eyed guys from each of the playing teams plus a balanced commentator. For example - Greig, Lawry + Chappell. This means you get three very different points of view rather than the blandness of some. |

Poor old Ganguly bowled by a ball that did absolutely nothing including wobble or move sideways either direction. Mark and Tub's turned into the greatest flipper of all times including asking a rightfully cautious Ian Chappell how great a flipper he thought it was ...which Chappeli dodged and weaved. Ritchie and Bill were probably deep in the MCG members drinking double or triple Wild Turkey's and coke in disbelief. As was probably Ganguly who more than likely has not seen a ball like it since he was 4-5 years old. |
