Well the Windies will not be better placed to win a test match. They have got lots of time.

Well, well. The Windies have backed up their good batting with a spirited bowling performance. Maybe they are coming back after all.

A good 2 days work by the Windies. Now we need to find out if they have some consistancy and put in another days good work because if they do they will have given themsleves a great chance to win a test.

Pity that they did not enforce the follow-on, though. Every captain seems to have developed this Waugh Syndrome.

Excellent cricket this. For those of us either stuck in work (me) or without Sky, audio commentary for this game is available on Gospel 97.5 FM. Very good it is too.

Another twist in the making. Now the Windies have collapsed in their second innings and are unlikely to add more than another 20 runs. With 2 full days to go, SA might try to make a game of this. What's the Port Elizabeth wicket usually like during the last 2 days?

This could end up being a really good match. If SA need 375 or less and Kallis gets in this could go either way. It all depends if the Windies can keep their heads and their discipline after a bad day.

That could be the problem, because WI are known for losing their heads under pressure. Yes, I know so are South Africa, but their choking is more in limited overs cricket and with a relatively easy target to reach. On home turf in a Test match with lots of time to play and score around 375 runs, Kallis and co might just have a careful go at it. As you say, it is turning out very interesting.

It appears that the first innings was a false dawn and the Windies have collapsed again. Still 359 is a handy lead and the run chase should be interesting to watch.
