The way Indian batsmen are batting, the more significant Symonds' decision is becoming. Imagine the scorecard which would have read Australia - all out 230, India 216/3. Instead India are still fighting to be in the match. All because of one decision. And Mark taylor had the nerve to comment at the end of Australian innings that "No Indian bowler could get Symonds out"......... Hypocrisy at its best. |

| Taylor/Healy are rubbish commentators. The only new one whose any good is Slater. Taylor and Healy were in that 'boys club' mentality of the Australian cricket team for far too long and now believe they're the be all and end all. Now whilst I do agree that Symonds was out - twice in fact - you can't say that India bowled any good from then on. It was **** on a stick, ripe for Symonds picking. |

| I really hope Indian batsmen bat well tomorrow. But I have serious doubts simply because in my opinion the Indian batting is on the decline and the proof of which is that an ordinary spin bowler like Hogg is troubling them. These are the same batsmen who absolutely destroyed Warne and they come from the land where even Qadir failed in his prime. |

| I very much enjoyed a very silken innings by Laxman today. Yes like Symonds, he rode his luck somewhat, but there is no denying the class he showed and the quality of his strokeplay was great to watch. This was somewhat dulled by the painful experience of watching Dravid however. My god, what happened to that guy. People pay to watch good cricket by quality players for god's sake, and he should have done everybody a favor (including Indian fans probably) by trodding on his wicket the first ball he faced. But thankfully he is gone now. Tomorrow obviously will be a pivotal day. Tendulkar averages something like 290 at the SCG It's looking like a draw. But if India put on 600 and repeat the dose to Australia's top order in the second innings......... If Australia can knock India over for 350 and put on a decent quickfire second innings total...............The game is there to be won, no doubt. Like i say, tomorrow will be pivotal.

| I will wait until the Indian second innings is over. After all we are still in the first innings and the second innings is yet to come. |

| Laxman batted beautifully and it is a pity both he and Dravid threw their wickets away at crucial juncture. Another 75-100 runs from them and India would have been in a commanding position for the other batsmen to launch an attack. Now Sachin and Ganguly have to start from scratch and rebuild the innings for India to be in the match. The key for India today is Sachin, without any doubt. India must bat for the whole day today and a few hours tomorrow and score in excess of 600 to be safe. |

| Absolutely beautiful batting conditions. Tendulkar is looking dangerous. I don't see why the Indians won't get at least 600 here today.

| I have had a change of heart and want to make a prediction now after all. I believe the match will be over by Lunch time on Day 5 at the latest provided weather stays good. Australia should comfortably win by about 250-300 runs. |

| How about because they're 354/7 with Tendulkar the only recognised batsman left. Good to see a team finally standing up to the Aussies though. It's been too long (about 3 years infact). |
