Wish I was able to watch some of this! Two wickets needed in about 13 minutes for Australia to make it 16 in a row. Pretty nail-biting stuff, even with only the Cricinfo text commentary to go by.

Paoli - you're faster than Cricinfo! Make it one more to go. Money must be on Australia now.

A great end to what sounds like a great test match. Doubtless there will be some continuing discussion about some of the controversial positions taken by the umpires, and here's the place for it - but be polite, please!!!

In any event, congratulations to Australia on taking their 16th win in a row - can they beat their own record next time out? And tough luck to India, who have fought hard all through the game only to fall right at the end.

And lets not forget Andrew Symonds

Batting 162 not out & 61...Bowling 0 for 19 & 3 for 51

6 wickets between Symonds and Clarke today

As I have earlier said.......why do we need a specialist spinner who is not in the same class as the rest of the players in the team.

My selection..Tait in Hogg out ...Gilly bats 6.

Lets pin the ears back and throw every thing at them in Perth for win number 17
