Hmm I dunno the facts so won't comment, though I do have my doubts on the Australian side of the story as to whether it was used in a racist sense. I dunno, but am I the only one who sees the irony in Symonds being called a monkey by an Indian player?! Seems rather suss.

The way the Indian crowd were carrying on over there, it seemed like a big joke. I'm not 100% sure if it was meant with racist intentions.

bhajji is an adorable guy for indian fans. He is a bit of maverick and welcome change from good old nice guys such a tendulkar, vvs or dravid. He is more popular in india compared to vvs or kumble. He is a fighter and never ducks a challenge. He is immensely popular in dressing room. Typical punjabi guy.
Where did you get this idea of being nice and friendly to opposition on field? If you try being friendly to your opposition, it means you have already given up the battle.
Try telling it to aussies, they have some track record of having nice to opposition. You cant clap with one hand, there has to be some provocation. Aussies just cant take it when someone tries to give them a dose of there own medicine. Aussies cant have their cake and eat it. He never causes ill feeling unless you are the one on the the receiving end of stick. It is but natural to for anybody on receiving end of stick to feel ill.

Do you often see him applaud the Indian fielders in the field, or do you often see him abuse them? Is he a likeable, cheerful fellow - an asset tto the team and the game?
i think i have already answered this. Harbhajan is a match winner and very popular man india and dressing room.

Has Harbhajan been an innocent victim of the ill-feeling permeating this test series, or has he been solely responsible for it?
yes he has been made a scapegoat, because he is an easy target.

I think the stump microphone's might decide the case here Paoli.

Let's not forget Warney's "cant bowl, cant throw" comment that the microphones picked up about Scott Muller in 1999 at Hobart.

And that was a supposed friendly fire incident within the Australian team.

Do you think the behaviour of the crowds in India recently towards Symonds were a plot created by ponting and his big girls also ?

And perhaps Ponting made the innocent Indian cricketer in question repeat those slurs on the pitch to Symonds ?
