What!!? He did catch it but only after it bounced Barra!!

Are you really telling me you are 100% happy the catch was clean? In that case one of us better get down to specsavers because on my TV at least it clearly went to ground.

Alternatively I could change my name Amsterdam Mikey beacause if that catch was fair I'm a Dutchman.

How many hands did he use? Maybe they were trialling backyard rules cause then if he caught it with one hand it'd be ok.

Of course than Aus would have been in trouble with the whole six and out rule for anything over the fence but 6 of one half a dozen of the other and all that.

Well maybe I'm wrong, but when I was watching the game it looked out to me. I saw the slow mo and it was the same.

Maybe I need glasses hey ?

BTW Kiwi comments don't count :-)

you should watch dhoni, tendulkar and dravid more often then.

Should Symonds apologise for making another 120 runs after his peice of good fortune rather than skying the next ball for a duck.
oh yeah i would quite appreciate it. It was blatant edge and symonds himself called himself in press conference. Now thats sportsmanship right?

And, i almost forgot to add that symonds was twice stumped out. On one ocassion tv umpire got it wrong and on other occassion bucknor simply refused to go for 3rd umpire.

I notice many Indian fans have quickly overlooked or barely noticed that one of these recent Harbajan getting out Ricky Ponting lbw desicions, Ponting conclusively hit the ball with his bat prior to it hitting his pad.

But hey that was not an Indian hard luck story so I suppose does not count..
ponting was plump caught behing in very same inning while on 17. He went on to make 55. So thats 38 runs extra aussies scored illegaly.
Wasim jaffer was given out on a no ball from lee.
india paid with losing match when set dravid and in form ganguly were robbed by umpires.

So tell me "willow_wielder", since India has been so hard done by here.

Will they sook and get thumped in the next two tests ? Or will they fight like men and resurrect this series and some pride to some degree ?

I'm putting my money on the former.

No excuses, no complaining lets see if they're man enough to play some hard / tough cricket !

praytell, do you explain the four LBW's in the first innings? If they were so against you, I do not remember every dismissal but they could not all have been plumb.
thats a nice wishful thinking dude.

The umpiring standard may have been low, fine, but India have NO ONE but themselves to blame for this...6/134 to 463...
thats a remarkable point, i thought we got out symonds thrice only to be over ruled.

if you need the 50/50 calls to go your way to stop that happening you shouldn't be playing Test cricket.
we are talking about plumb decisions here dude.

The issue is not if India had some rough decisions, the issue is why they did and what effect that truly had on the match.
why they did? - Bucknor is biased old guy and benson is simply *%&t

what effect? - india lost at SCG where they had the best chance

Quote:
I think you are hopelessly misguided on both of those questions.
i think similiarly of yourself

Have you thought about it ?

Answer my question above, or don't and I'll assume the obvious !

i'm sure indians will fight back like they did in fist inning despite you guy removing harbhajan out of way. Can you ensure unbiased umpiring in remaining tests?

Harbahjan "The brainless sledger" (or should that be "serial racist slurer" - but you would know that being from Mumbai) WILL play in the 3rd test (it has been announced).

The umpires are from neutral countries but I think there should be 2 Indian umpires so that Australia can thump India and there will be NO excuses from you, your team or your cricket board.
