The response I expected.

I bet the 25% have never played a cricket match in their life.
I'm sure they mentioned at least two separate polls....maybe it was from a Newspaper. Personally I don't think Ponting should stand down. I am disappointed with the way that Australia played though. They are too good a side to resort to these kind of things.

What have they resorted to?? They played the umpires decisions bad as they were and celebrated as mentioned above after winning the series and equallying the world record, you don't hear Aussies calling Singh a fool after his wild celebrations after 1 wicket good on him for showing some emotion but shame on Australia for their celebrations.

All you have to do is look at the ODI series in India where the crowd were making Monkey noises at Symonds and the Indians were giving the Aussies send offs. Could you see Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Tait or Stuart Clark giving a send off? The Aussies talk but that is a part of Australian cricket and the reason why Australia is the best in the world is not just because they have the best players it is because cricket is a psychological game and if you get in an opponents head you have beaten them.

Yes, have you?

The tactics I am referring to is taking catches that are obviously not legitimate when before the series both Captains had an agreement that they would be honest about this. That is really my only beef with the Australian team. Did I find there celebrations over the top? A little yes, I did think it was poor they didn't seem to acknowledge the Indian players at all, but understand the emotion that they would have been feeling at the time. I haven't seen Singhs celebration over the dismissal so I can't comment on that, but from all accounts it was way over the top.....I'll youtube it tonight. I would never blame Australia for the bad umpiring decision.

Yes I have. I'm glad we're both taking from experience unlike some keyboard warriors.

The captains agreed to take the word of the fielders NOT what you say.

Obviously not legitimate ? I'm not convinced. You're obviously talking about the Clarke catch, what others do you think should be in question ?

The Australian team shook the hands of the Indian Team as they left the ground. What would you rather happen ?

Perhaps they should hug them, kiss them, and say "I'm sorry, are you Ok ?"

Yes but the did need to take 3 wickets in ten minutes and Clarke took three in an over so they were excited. Also Kumble and Sharma just walked straight off the field as the Aussie were celebrating they didnt give them a chance to shake there hands untill they left the field.

Either way, people were not being honest.

There was also the one where Ponting tried to claim which actually hit the ground. So there was two incidents where catches were appealed for when due to an earlier agreement there shouldn't have been.

So did they shake hands or didn't they? Barraxr8 said they did, Quagmire says the Indians walked off without shaking and Channel 9 news this morning told me the Aussies snubbed them.

The Indian Team came on the ground and every one did shake hands after the fact.

Maybe like I've said before. players should just apologise and stop celebrating. "Are you Ok ?" Kiss / Hugg.

"Hang on we won the game, lets stop celebrating and 'hug the losers' !".

"Precious people" shouldn't play sport they should stay at home and watch TV.
