There was also the one where Ponting tried to claim which actually hit the ground.
Ponting grasped that ball in diving mid air, the argument is that when he landed the bottom of the ball touched the ground. As to which he would have no idea.

The catch was given not out anyway because the umpire deemed it was pad only and had no bat.

This is the kind of typical mis-information getting around out there at the moment bogging down the reconcilliation process.

Whats with all the fuss about Pontings celebration when we won the test , it was no worse than when Harbi went on his half marathon run when he had Ponting out in the second innings , what now we want our cricketers to act like Toffs

If any other country had the success that the Aussies have had over the last decade they would act exactly the same

What was with the number 11 coming out with the wrong gloves that is bordering on cheating no one can say that wasn't a stall tactic with an over or two to go too bad it didn't work

Dont forget Harbi's rolling on the ground.

I just saw his badboy mate Sreesanth on "An Aussie goes Bolly" last night. A classic non-celebrator..

TBH I don't mind the celebrating at all.

Brings an element of theatre to the game. My only problem is I can't remember one side that has ever gotten the better of Australia in the mind games element so there's no point doing it.

Mind you it is quite funny when Australia gets beaten how much they whinge. And despite the fact (pretty much indisputable) that India were beaten due to dodgy umpiring decisions there is no excuse for their heads dropping.

It's been so long ago I have just about forgotten what it's like to lose "Paoli"

In fact I was getting a bit agitated prior to punter giving pup Clarke a bowl, that we were heading for a draw.

I do think India might have fast tracked a winning attitude if M.S Dohni had of been captaining this team.

That second bit is what's a bit worrying. Depending on circumstances teams around the world have different ways of interpreting this "psychological" thing and there is a very thin line between acceptable pressurising and unfair gamesmanship. Increasingly, players are crossing that line and the game is getting uglier and uglier.

Haha yeah it is a bit like that Acker, no doubt, but we aren't the best losers. Then again it doesn't really bother me.

You're in this game to win, not to lose gallantly. I'd rather we play like absolute crap and win, than play brilliantly and lose. Not gonna win me any sportsmanship awards any time soon but results are foremost. All this sportsmanship stuff is overrated. Your rivals are your rivals. ATM Aus-India is about as heated as it gets behind India-Pakistan.

Yeah maybe Harbhajan needs to go to school to understand what is acceptable and what isn't.

After all, he's been warned on this issue before

Yes, your philosophy seems to be fairly common among Aussies, because it showed at the SCG. But then what else can one expect?
