Bucknor and Benson not to umpire in the third Test?

The Indian team (and the board too?) have made a request that Bucknor and Benson not umpire in the third Test at Perth. NDTV reports that the ICC is considering this request and according to some unconfirmed reports, has agreed to it.

Yes, I also heard that Bucknor has been removed from the test. As far as I know, Benson was not supposed to be in the third test anyways.

LOL, great call on Koertzen, he's terrible - if you were up in arms over Sydney, you'll burst into flames if you watch him. I like Aleem Dar, I also like Asad Rauf, Pakistan produces some solid umpires.

Aleem Daar. Great. The last five Aussies reported to the match referees have been by Daar.

Daar was standing in the last test that Australia lost, and made some crucial shockers against them too. Not that England didn't well and truly deserve the win though.

Fine. If that will appease the Indians then bring him over. It won't help them at the WACA though i suspect.

You are a rascal Seam!!

I remember one bad decision against Katich (while we're talking about gracious behaviour I should point out he really, REALLY threw his toys out the pram) and I think an inside edge against Damo.

Strauss was also victim in that game to what I'll call a "questionable" catch but as we won (yes kids there was a time when England won test matches!!) I won't labour the point

I say bring over two Indian Umpires for the last two tests.

The results won't be any different IMO unless India lift and stop sooking.

Dont worry about bringing them over

Just get Dravid and Jaffer to do the job, Youvraj could be the video umpire he seldom spends anytime at the crease.

Better still let the Indians bat and field 15 players in the match.

Anything to stop the sooking.
