| Hussey out to Singh for 46 and Symonds lbw to Kumble for 12 Australia currently 5-190 This is it now backs to the wall and the final line of defence at the crease Clarke and Gilchrist at the crease. My prediction India to win by about 114 runs surprisingly their 1st innings lead. I think Kumble taking Symonds has broke Australias back. Congratulation's Anil and India. But one more nail to be nailed before the celebration "Gilly" |

| Gilchrist b Sehwag 15 Australia 6-227 Party time get that champagne on ice, book the limousines to take Anil and the boys to the nightclubs on a joyous Perth Saturday night. The celebration is about to launch. I've even gone "bolly" Well done India Feilded a much more dangerous team this match. And might I add are starting to look as if they are about to take over as "numero uno" from Australia |

| Goodbye Brett Lee 7-229 Clarke showing stern resistance But it is really party time now. Sehwag 2-2 He will be partying hard tonite. |
| ||||
| Michael Clarke out st Dhoni b Kumble 81 Defiant innings maybe a few of his detractors will finally jump off his back as I can assure you he does not deserve the criticism which I think is more due to some latent dislike of his personality as the younger face of the Australian team more than any relevant batting or technical issue's. But this session is about the celebration of the coming of age of Indian cricket on a pace friendly rather than spinner friendly pitch in a pace friendly country. I am sure Anil Kumble would have told his team going out to the middle after tea. Enjoy it, hold it together, suck it in and stand tall and proud. India has every right to celebrate, no excuses they were the best team. And I'm about the most rancid one-eyed Australian supporter on this forum. ![]() |

| And finally India kill the beast with 73 runs to spare. Tait clean bowled by the impressive Pathan (my man of the match) Mitchell Johnson not out 50. |

| Thats a good compliment coming from an Australian fans. Yes, we have just proved that Australia is not invincible. If we can beat them at Perth, we can beat them elsewhere as well. I hope we win the next match and level the series.

| come on django come up with some more predictions(with most of your guesses ending up in opposite way) i think django's predictions are good omen for india (at least in this test) would love to hear more predictions from our beloved friend django On serious note, its one of the most memorable win in tests for india in last 25 years(especially after the debacle of sydney test and most of the experts writing off the indian batsmen on the fast waca pitch with 4 pace attack of aussies-especially with new found express speed shaun tait) Congrats india for the tremendous win and also excellent fight back by mitchel johnson and michale clarke (gave me shiver until the stumping) funny thing was the way kumble enjoyed when he dismissed symonds(i guess he tried to reciprocate the way the symonds enjoyed when he took kumble's wicket in second innings) overall an very satisfying win for indians i guess adelaide won't be an easy test for australia(is the pitch is as quick/bouncy as waca?)
