From India's point of view, I hope so! India's bowling has been very good in this series, contrary to expectations and it will be interesting to see how the bowlers do at the WACA.

I hope the decision to leave Harbhajan does not backfire, and Pathan/Sharma deliver.

I wonder how much the arguments with Michael Clarke had to do with Dravid's lapse of concentration and his dismissal? Obviosuly Clarke was in a hurry to get through the overs because of Australia's appalling run-rate.

I pointed out this days ago. Mainly because i have been watching cricket at the WACA for 25 years and know my history

Expect a haul from Kumble it my tip
Australia can count themselves lucky they don't have to deal with Harbhijan and Kumble in tandem, that's for sure. Fast bouncy wickets are much harder to play the ball off the pitch and nicks from defensive prods carry.

Australia will miss the services of Hogg too for the same reason. Four pronged attacks are no good if you have to bowl a heap of spin in an attemp to get through the 90 overs. Australia, and those that advocated the 4 pronged attack will learn their lesson the hard way, which is good. You need to learn lessons

It's a long way to go of course, but if India can set any more than 250 for Aus to chase in the final innings, they will win IMO

Clarke actualy imparts a fair bit of spin on the ball.

Dhoni unlucky lbw b Clark 19 again the ball clearly going over the top of the stumps

Australia 3-24 at lunch (3-14 at one stage )

Pathan got both openers bowling excepionally well and getting good swing, why wasn't he picked in the other 2 tests ????

RP Singh bowling well in support got the prized scalp of Hussey.

Chris Rogers 4 ....my verdict is out with this bloke, but it was opportunity lost considering it is his home ground.
His footwork is slightly questionable.

Aussies still need another 107 to avoid the follow on.

Is this is a joke? With cream of batting yet to come (Ponting, Clarke, Symonds, Gilchrist), I still believe Australia will take a huge first innings lead and bat India out of the match.

Not much cream left Django

Australia 5-61 and in deep ....

Ponting out to a good ball by Ishant and Clarke out to Ishant as well

Still 70 runs needed to avoid the follow on and if I was Kumble I would enforce it.

Cool change has come through Perth apparently and bowling conditions are good.

Holy crap they are human!!!! I was starting to wonder.

Symonds and Gilly have steadied the ship and it's 122-5 forty minutes from tea. Can't say I saw this coming!

hahhaa! Well bowled India for getting to this, they need to pile on the pressure even more now by breaking the partnership between Gilchrist and Symonds. When will Kumble decide to bowl himself?
