| Chris Rogers c Dhoni b Pathan 15 Australia 1-21 I do have an issue with Rogers now. He continues to shuffle across the crease sometimes prior to the delivery being released. Leg stump almost always seems to be getting exposed. This time he moved so far across that he thought he needed to play at Pathan, when actualy he was already well outside off stump due to his lateral movement. Last time same shuffle but got caught on leg stump LBW. I think he has a technical issue that needs soughting out. |

| Jacques was dropped in the same over that Rogers got out. I hope the error is not going to turn out expensive. |

Never the less, I did not see the oponers as a threat. It was always going to Ponting, Hussey, Symonds, Gilchrist and Clark who would pose the most threat. This next partnership is key to the match as Ponting has scored many centuries in the 4th innings when Australia were chasing big scores and Hussey, well he is just Hussey. This pitch is still good for batting though. It will be interesting to see how Kumble bowls tomorrow. Kumble should bring Sharma on for a couple of overs since he got Ponting in the 1st innings and Singh has not been firing yet today.

9.6 Pathan to Hussey, FOUR, too much width on this one and the batsman reaches away from his body to drive forcefully through the covers |

| Good resistance from ponting and hussey but as i always Predicted(u can read my pre match comments on tait thread which i wrote much before the third test ) ,india is doing better than most of you would've expected it to do so in this test and also much hype about india's weakness against fast bowling(Shaun Tait) and waca pitch also proven wrong in this match at least still i am not predicting an indian victory (i will be fool to write off the aussies) but i am happy to see them playing better game than their last match if india do win this test (which i pray and hope)that will give a huge boost to their confidence for the rest of the series and also future tours

| Pardon the pun but in memory of that great Japanese TV show that the ABC in Australia ran in the early 1980's at 6pm weeknights. "we need monkey magic" to get out of this one. |

| Well the 2 who are in both need centuries if Australia are to continue the winning streak.Amazing how vulnerable they have looked in this game after all the talk of blowing away India on a pacy track. |

)This test, India don't really seem to have a weak link. Even that young bloke Sharma looks like getting a wicket or too. Kumble will be a difficult prospect in the middle overs as well, so there probably won't be any relenting of the pressure there either. If two of our three bats can get in and post a big score, maybe, but the Indian bowlers are looking perhaps too good this test.
