| Australia v India 3rd Test Perth I will stick this up now in the hope of a peaceful test match and cultural harmony YouTube - Aussie goes bolly A catchy song "I've gone bolly" P.S Congratulation's Chris Rogers for your first test cap for Australia (Hayden & Hogg out..Rogers & Tait in) |

| Well, that's about the first good news I've had today: let's hope we do at some point get to see Jacques and Rogers batting together for an hour or so as a basis for a decent comparison between the two. |

| The talk has already begun, Lillee has come out saying that if Tait gets it right today that he could smash the world record for the fastest ever delivery getting close to the 170 k/ph mark. A little over the top there from Lillee with the 170 k/ph. He could get close to beating the record today. I think Ponting will give him the same licence that they give James Bond for this test.

| He's still got to bowl well to get wickets. I remember when Australia picked Angel to take on the West Indies in Perth and he got carted round the park and the Aussie got done by an innings. Brett Lee has learned that accurate 90mph is much better than wayward 95. He could easily get carried away with the bounce (which they say has returned for this test) and prove to be totally innefective. As much as I like to see out and out pace, I find bowlers simply trying to bowl as fast as they can quite pathetic. |

| Taits main weapons are pace, swing, bounce and his action makes it hard to pick up out of the hand. Tait is very different to a younger version of Lee. I'm still not convinced he is a test bowler yet, but on this wicket they have to play him because he will be destructive if he bowls well.

| 170Kph; thats nearly 106mph Is this realistic guys or as quaggy said is lillee getting carried away. Either way I'm glad tait doesn't play in our league othewise it would be the old convenient friday night injury before we played his team!! |

| I think Lillee is having a dip at Thomson by saying that. Its a little personal thing

Tait's only weapon is his pace. If he tries to be cute and accurate around the high 140 kph's he will get smashed. Tait needs to be able to toss down 4 over spell's at around or above 150 kph. A couple of years ago at the Adelaide oval Tait and Gillespie had New South Wales on its knees at 5 for 12 (Jaques was a Tait victim) while they were chasing a meagre 134 for victory. New South Wales eventualy staggered to a 2 wicket victory but the Tait spell was brutal. |
