Thats a bit like playing "cluedo" with half the characters missing.

They are pretty skinny on numbers so I have my hunches.

Tendulkar has foolishly run himself out 10 minutes to lunch and keeping his poor second innings record intact. Absolutelt poor cricket from one of the greats of yhe game.

very similar to what happened to Ian Bell here at Adelaide in last year's Ashes series.

The end is near for India and the only thing is that perhaps the match might go into the last session, but Australia will comfortably win.

The X-ray department at the local hospital is doing pretty well.

Dravid broken finger near the knuckle.

India 2-142 at lunch and the man who could not get in the side in the first two tests Sehwag has 103 of them not out.

54 overs to go and India only 132 in front with only 6 wickets to go (Dravid will most probably not bat in this innings). Another SCG is on the cards.

India need to be at least 225 in front with 20 overs left to secure a draw.

Tendulkar's run-out was the most foolish one would ever see at a critical time in the match.

I agree - a batsman of his experience should have used better judgement. If India lose this test match, bulk of the blame should fall on Tendulkar's shoulders. His record of winning matches for India is poor indeed, but now even his record of losing matches will go up one point after such a reckless display.

Even Laxman gone now and the Indians are making it harder for themselves.

India 7-269 declared...match drawn play abandoned 5.26pm Adelaide local time.

27 wickets 1356 runs including 5 centuries and 5 half centuries. Hardly a pitch the bowlers would want to see again.

Best batting was probably Sehwags 151 in the Indian second innings on the worst of pitch conditions. Best bowling probably Mitchell Johnson.

Of note Stuart Clark did not get a wicket this match 43 overs 0-129. Twice in a row this has happened to an Australian pace bowler Tait at Perth and Clark in Adelaide.

Good to see you finally got a prediction right. As you predicted, Aus never lost a wicket in their final innings.

PS: Django, you should change your team from "I support cricket in general" to "I support any team except India"

What a comeback Sehwag has made. Good batting in tough conditions.

Thanks Django for keeping the predictions running.

Its been an engrossing series with top-class cricket, great controversies, racism charges, comebacks, retirements, new talents, surprising twists...and what not. I hope the ODIs are just as interesting minus the controversies.
