| Thanks, I feel better now. I suppose cricket does change. Tests were originally timeless, and then days. If they were still timeless, Brian Lara would still be batting in his world record innings. I suppose cricket will change. Things than have changed in the past include 1 No of balls in an over 6,8 2 No of stumps in a wicket (2,3,and 4) 3) No of overs bowled (10,20,40,50,55,60,etc) 4) no of players in a team (12 was tried briefly) 5) Fielding placement (post body line and first 15 overs) 6 ) ball colour/uniform colour 7) days cricket was played 8) Who runs cricket (mcc, icc) What will change in the future? I hope tests will stay, and that other countries will come into the test area (Kenya 's next I suppose, then who? Scotland? Ireland? Holland? France (hahahaha), USA?

| French fan 's hat As an England fan /Cricket fan I'd be horrified to see the demise of test matches. But a French fan will probably never see France play a test match (realisticly.) So what possible market is there in most of Europe? And will USA ever play tests? Or China? or South America? Time to get real. For a minnow nation fan, tests are unlikely, so ODI is the holy grail. So they'll take cotton cos they 've no chance of silk. The ICC must allow more countries to play ODI's and Tests , even if this involves an apparent short term detriment to the game. If the Australian's boo up, tell them to think on when they lose to the minnow sides in five years time. Otherwise, kiss goodbye to tests and say hello to 20/20 format cricket at ODI level, with no tours as teams play endless qualification matches for the asia cup/european cup/world cup/UHUtwistandglueallcomersstickywicketspecialcricket tinpotcup. Cricket. The new football.

| From the ICC Dear Richard Thank you for your email; we apologise for the delay in replying to you. The ICC values the feedback it receives from cricket fans around the world, and we appreciate you taking the time to write to us with your thoughts and comments. The ICC is undertaking a review of the structure of cricket - at this stage it is simply a review in which all stakeholders are providing input. The review will be taken to the Board members for further discussion and it is the board - made up of all Full member countries - who will ultimately decide whether the present structure is the right model, or whether modifications need to be made. There is significant work to be conducted before any decision is made, but we appreciate you taking the time to write and thank you for your ongoing support of the game. Yours sincerely ICC Corporate Affairs
