Here is my point and the point of most other Aussies..

England have been umming and arring about this tour since the world cup where they lost points and lost repect because they did not go. Other nations have simply said either yes or no, we are going. No stuffing around it's a short series lets just get it over with.

Beny, I applaud your awareness on the Zimbabwe issue, although you did not demonstrate any depth of knowledge by your initial response and I am not a mind readder.

If anyone is visiting London on a Saturday please find time, as I did last week, to go along the Strand and visit the The Zimbabwe Protest Vigil outside the Zimbabwe High Commision.

You'll get plenty of information - most of it harrowing - and a cuppa from the good people there.

Alas you fail to be sensitive over my plea against glib remarks. Shame

No mate, most other nations have just gone. No questions, no morality, they have just tripped off there. I doubt that if we were given the option to forgoe the tour on morale grounds we would be sending a team. But we haven't been, and so we are being forced by the ICC's rigid system and threats to send a team. I also believe if there was a stronger man than David Morgan at the helm then we would have put up more of a fight.

I hope you're as interested in fighting for other causes as you are for this. Selective compassion eh? Cricket all of a suden brings out you're compassonite side. It's kind of pathetic really.

Considering England and the Dutch created the problem in the first place.

.
Actually I am. Thanks for assuming and making an **** of yourself. In my spare time I volunteer for a Charity that seeks to improve the conditions of the world's poor. Nothing to do with Cricket.

I am not always proud of my country's role in history. However, should I just assume that I should do nothing. Or should I try my bset to work towards a better future. Thanks for throwing History at us, sadly it is not something we can change. Cheap shot, well done, I hope you feel you have made a constuctive contribution to the debate.

If we'd never gone to those places and never caused any problems where would New Zealand or Australia be now ? Oh I see ............ maybe that would have been better!

Call it a day

I'm gritting my teeth to write this but I will anyway.

This is getting out of hand and I think some kiss and make up needs to be done. You guys have you're oppinion and I have mine I'm happy to leave it at that and get back to the cricket (I get enough of this elsewhere).
