Cool My second favorite team

my 2nd favorite team is ENG ...I like teams and administrations that work hard and get results as a result of putting in the long hard hours. what england has done with their setup.....acadamy and Senior team had impressed me greatly and I like the style of their captain and I am also fond of the central contract system. The windies are looking to get that setup but player discipline is needed if that is supposed to work.

Hmmm.. tough one. Not least because I'm not sure who my most favourite is :-)

A lot boils down to coaches, captains and approaches for me: I like to see sides get what their hard work, preparation and perseverance deserve. Puts England near the head of the list for me right now.. but Sri Lanka are probably my current favourites.. with NZ still in second place for the way they punch above their weight.

That said... I'd love to see that 1st and 2nd choice list becoming split between the WI and Pak right now: if King can bang heads together and get things sorted for the WI and Woolmer can do the same with Pakistan then (for a while at least) they really will have to become the teams to cheer onwards and upwards.

I have to say SA. They are such a good cricketing nation who produce great players and are always great competitors. Pollock is one of my faviorite cricketrs.

However I'm beging to like the England team more than a socialy dull and arrogant SA team. For me, as soon as Pollock is gone the English stroke makers will have me watching.

England for me as well, but for a different reason.

I've followed England as passionately as I have supported Pakistan for what, about 3 or 4 years now, pretty much non stop since Alec Stewart was stripped of the captaincy, and Nasser took over. Then looking at the England team I really thought they weren't as bad as the results they were getting, and in many ways I felt sorry for them. Another thing was that I really liked Nasser Hussain in a mad sort of way, I just liked him too much, I thought he was never given due credit, I still think that partly, so I really started following England whenever they played anywhere, and even today unless they are playing Pakistan I always in my heart want them to win.

2nd team

This is a very interesting question. The team which I like the most is Pakistan because it is my native mother land . The second team which I like is Australia . I have a lot of reasons for my choice . The most important thing is that the Australians play a very exciting cricket . They plan for everything which they do . They play their cricket with enthusiasm and open mind . they really enjoy playing their cricket and i enjoy watching their cricket . The present Australian team is the best ever cricket team of all times . Australians put tons of pressure on their opponent. I think this Australian side has even forgotten the taste of defeat !!!!

God answer haseebbut007, but not quiite true, India beat Australia in the last Test if you remember or did you mean a series defeat?.

2nd best team, hard one for me, I have friends on this board from all nations, but I am a sucker for the underdog, so I would love to see Bangladesh doing well.

Ohhh give us a rest we were missing virtualy all of out bowlers and Darren Lehman. Our only player with test experience (other then Gillespie who was out for a while) was Brett Lee who was returing from injury and never clocked more than 147 km/ph.

Sorry, just had to get my two cents in there.
