Rachael - Not Rachel or Racheal. Though I guess RDT is allowable and I am a frequent user of "Rach". Just looking through a few old posts I happened to notice a Sarwen - I believe that should be Ramnaresh Sarwan. And I can't be bothered to list all the Grahams who should be Graeme and vice versa. There are a few. As is Graeme Hick and Graham Gooch or today's twosome of Graham Thorpe and Graeme Smith. This is surreal... if I look at those names for long enough, they don't seem right at all. Are those guys really called "Graham"?

| I've been guilty of spelling Rachael as Racheal quite often, but I guess that bottles down so my not to brilliant typing abilities . I apoligise all the same. I've also been guilty of spelling Michael as Micheal. Speaking of Thorpe I've seen so many people who not only write THORPE as THROPE but also pronounce it that way, those some people that call Thorpe Thrope also spell Christopher CAIRNS as Christopher CRAINS and say it that way too. Yesterday I saw one person at another MB write Mathew SINCLAIR as SINCLARE and another person in reply to that jockingly addressing him as SINCLEAR And rather confusingly Hayden writes Matthew with a double t but Sinclair writes that with a single t Last edited by Zainub : 06-12-2004 at 04:16 PM. |

This is one of the ones that irritates the hell out of me. You often see "InzamaN." Yes, he is a man, and his name is "InzamaM (-ul-Haq.)" Grrrrrr I agree with R W S though. The worst is the constant mis-typing of England's new and potent attacking threat. Does anybody ever spell Ian Botham wrong? Or Andrew (Freddie) Flintoff? Very rarely. So what the hell is the difficulty with Stephen (Steve) Harmison? And if anybody gives me any of that flannel about it being an unusual name... unlike Flintoff or Botham for instance... Grrrrr.... yes GRRRRRR.
