What I want to question was why did Inzamam take Shoaib off after lunch, not long after he picked up Clarke. It was a stupid move in my mind, having Razzaq and Khalil in tandem to Gilchrist who had just arrived, with no early pressure, he was allowed to settle down and wreak havoc as always.

I found that disappointing.

Australia choose to bat again.

Not sure they should have done that.

With you there Beny, with the close so close, and a nice opportunity for a long rest overnight, it does not make as much sense as when they did not enforce the follow-on during the last test..

To be honest I didn't even bother staying up to watch proceedings this morning. Pakistan's batting is so poor it wouldn't have surprised me if they had scored 79 instead of 179 so it's pretty much par for the course. I'd like to see Khalil given a bit more bowling while the ball is still fairly new tomorrow. I saw a recording of his first spell and he bowled better than his figures suggest.
