A little more, like a couple of runs and the first catch in 6 tests that he's been able to hold onto. Colly should have had a dismissal if the TV umpire had worn his glasses. I don't see why Colly is taking more blame than KP, who got himself out ridiculously in the first innings, whilst in the second innings Colly came in late on a day four pitch with spinners turning it all over the place, which is not exactly easy. Colly also has a previous record on the subcontinent of holding out pretty well against a guy named Muttiah Muralitharan.

Colli doesn't look like he is going to make runs with the bat. Don't forget KP has shown he can make runs against world class opposition. Oval 2005. 150 odd to KP which saved the match.

On a fast pitch that is not on the subcontinent yes, but he has done no better than Colly on this tour, and as a final note on the matter (I feel like a broekn record) I don't honestly believe he played better in the first test. Each to his own though, and it's been a good discussion.

His father-in-law's condition is stable, but it is great that he is staying with the squad. Without him we would be lost.

To be fair to him, he didn't actually say he thought England would win all three Tests, he said they were aiming to do so, which isn't really the same thing at all.

Captain. Trescothik without doubt has been the best batsmen in our line-up this tour, he's been our most consistent batsmen for quite some time now, and he seems to be getting better as the years go by. There are two tests left but I don't think that we will see half of our batsmen that play really fire to any degree. My predictions are that Bell will make a big one. KP needs to to keep his place in the side. Freddie will if he takes his time and I think we may see a big one from Vaughny.

But KP has proved himself to be a test-match quality batsmen, so no one is going to worry too much if he has a poor match, while Colly is far from established in the side, which makes a big difference. And I think KP has taken a far amount of stick for his poor form thus far on the tour, to be fair.....

I'm pleased Trescothick is remaining in Pakistan....and if Vaughan comes back in for Collingwood, England's batting will immediatly look stronger again.
