Zimbabwe Tour of Bangladesh

Hi everyone. "The clash of the minnows" is starting in 8 days...

Currently Zimbabwe are playing a tour match against BCB President's XI...Stew Matsikenyeri took 4/58, whilst Bangers made 316, with a century from Nafees. Zims are 0/41 at stumps

This thread is for any thoughts, news or discussion on the tour as it isn't on the Say Something Series

Go Zimbabwe!!!

It should be an interesting series. Bangladesh must be confident after their ODI win over India and they seem to have a few decent players coming through now like Mohammed Ashraful and Musharafe Mortaza to go along with the more experienced players like Habibul Bashar and Mohammed Rafique. Zimbabwe on the otherhand are in crisis- With most of the rebels still unavailable they face an uphill struggle- I tip Bangladesh to win their first test series and hopefully its the first of many.

I reckon the Zim lineup for 1st test will read:

Matsikenyeri
Taylor
Ebrahim
Rogers
Vermuelen
Sibanda
Taibu
Panyangara
Utseya
Hondo
Nkala

It isn't a terrible side--nowhere near the one we saw about 8 months ago, but newai it ll be interesting...Im looking forward too seing Ashraful boost his average

I didn't choose him, I dunno what you're reading.

Bdw, i think in 5 years Chigumbura would've made 3 test centuries, and taken a few five wicket hauls. He is quite a talent and will possibly bat at four one day

Chigumbura has a huge future ahead of him. Wouldn't insult an alltime Zimbabwe team.
