Actually Gilly's keeping for mine has never quite impressed me. The best "keepers" i've seen are Christopher Read and Jim Foster in recent times...Overall, probably Rod Marsh

Racheal has made a good point and i agree. Athleticism does not neccesarily equate to good keeping. Rod Marsh was spectacular but his diving around was mainly due to a lack of footwork (Hard against Thommo i know but still). Also, he was never proven against spin. In my opinion, Healy was the best technician. Would take Gilly over Healy though, purely for his batting

Best keeper i have seen is Darren Berry from Victoria, who unluckily enough never played tests. due to a selection policy of not picking the best gloveman but the best batsman/keeper. Obviously this is uinversal round the world these days. My dad raved about Don Tallon Aust & Qld, who played just after the second world war.
