SA v WI 4th test

West Indies: C H Gayle, W W Hinds, R R Sarwan, B C Lara, S Chanderpaul, N Deonarine, D J J Bravo, C O Browne, D B Powell, T L Best, D M Washington

South Africa: A B de Villiers, G C Smith, H H Dippenaar, J H Kallis, H H Gibbs, A G Prince, M V Boucher, N Boje, S M Pollock, M Ntini, M Zondeki

I'm guessing that Zondeki does some medium pace trundling or is a spinner as there no Nel in there, even though pollock is back. Not alot of familiar faces in the WI line up either - what does this chap Washington do, apart from chopping down cherry trees ?

Zondeki...Ripped Zimbabwe to shreds but has failed against West Indies....South Africa obviously thought "Lets fastrack him after a good Zimbabwe series because we want to reach our target"...He has failed, and is a RMF bowler.

Zondeki's a young and raw fast bowler... but I'm not sure why he's been preferred to Nel.

*** Update - apparently Nel is out because of a back strain.

RSA 211/0.

Not bad, not bad at all. de Villiers and Smith bring up their centuries, which means de Villiers has hundreds against all his test opponents. What has happened to the Windies?? Do they crap their daks at the whispering of the name Lara? They have been worse off as a team since he returned.
