Czech TV has again failed to pick up on the possibilities offered by this televisual feast, which is a shame as both cricket fans in the country would like to be able to see it.

Oh, yes - at about £1,000 for installation plus £30 or so a month subscription! Plus I'd have to buy a television, of course! If BBC Test Match Special is on the web, that will do me. If not - and they didn't answer my e-mail when I wrote to them to find out - I just may be forced to buy the kit. Or take an eight week holiday in Blighty, which would go down a storm with the Czech lady friend and maybe no better with the various people from whom I would be cadging bed and board!

Well, I'm not quite alone here, TTFC. To be more honest, there are actually a fair number of Englishmen around, as well as Aussies, Kiwis and, in fact, people from most of the cricket playing world. We wouldn't come close to filling a stand at Lord's, but I'd say we'd number a few thousand in total, of whom a few hundred would be cricket followers. Players are much rarer, but there are enough people here to keep one club going - Prague Cricket Club - and they do play competitive cricket with various continental European sides. They also have a South of England tour lined up this July.

I don't know any of the guys who are active in the club, but I'd bet they would be happy to hear from anyone in England who plays, maybe with a view to lining up fixtures.

Buzz along to www.cricket.cz for information. (Shameless plug, I know: I don't think I am breaching any forum rules, but if so maybe one of my fellow mods will mod me!)

Ok, I admit, I'm stuck with the whole deal about Warnie and BamBam being good pals. But has anyone else read Peter English's latest column...if you haven't please do, makes a very interesting read, link below

In Australia, there is one that is a one-off installation of $600! But don't tell anyone I said that, ASIO will be after me soon!!

Back to what this thread is really about, building up to the Ashes, three potentials in this years Ashes have made centuries for Hants.

Pietersen made 125 overnight, Warnie made 100 off 72 balls a few days ago, and Simon Katich also scored 125. Hopefully for England fans this gives KP a much needed confidence boost.

There are a lot of surprises waiting: England fans should cheer and rejoice. There a time comming: So be prepared.

Just equally and squarly and in the moment of the great move: Everything changed.
