| first odi day nighter I remeber sri lanka V england in 1999 being a day nighter in perth in a triangular tournament... i think... i've found one in 1997 in new zealand, nz v england. i'd say before this. i'll guess Australia V England in 1990ish?

| This is a fiendish one RBLC, and my knowledge of English cricket in the era before satellite TV and the internet is limited; how about some charity/exhibition match sometime in the early 1980s?
