No RJ it dosent get worse It actualy gets better. I was really pleased to see the Aussies recover with the bat. Mike Hussy and Mike Clarke did a fantastic job and full credit has to be given to the England bowlers, particuarly Harmison and Flintoff both of whom looked dangerous all the time. McGrath bowled well for us which is a fantastic sign.Watson played out of his skin to be half decent. The only major worry was Gillespie who looked out of sorts and Kaspa who again got carted. I wonder though, from watching, how much of this is due to a lack of matches played of late. The Aussie bowlers struggled a bit with the left handers which is always a sign of such. As I've always maintained. England beat us in the CT and the batting colapses we've been seeing are no different to the collapses that plauged us against SA in the world cup and more recently, Pakistan, West Indies and New Zealand. There is nothing new about that.

If you've been saving up your pennies, I'd say bet now. Like you Beny, I saw many encouraging signs in the match and agree that Dizzy looks underdone. Interesting how they'll respond with Lee probably fit (or so I understand) and Symonds's penance over.

Pietersen's effort was superb and deservedly won the match (although the MotM voting screen that came up on tv didn't include his name - nothing to do with the foolish idea of voting for hte award two-thirds through the match?). Kaspa's not gotten a little rattled a couple of times when pressured in ODIs and tends to bowl a little wide when he does. Something, along with a similar Watson trait they'll no doubt re-emphasise. Unfortunately Punter's done nothing to assuage my concerns re his captaincy.

Harmison looked good. It will be good to see whether he can back up on Thursday. Well done England & Bangladesh. Game on...
