But to be fair, playing domestic teams of lesser quality and out of the glare of media and spectators is a far cry to facing quality legspin in a test match situation. Zone cricket and playing tests are like chalk and cheese. The technical floors are there for all to see and in time will be exploited. It is a bit hard to hoik the ball to the region ranging from square leg to mid off when the ball is pitching on off stump and spinning away. If he can't move his feet to get to the pitch of the ball and tries his favoured shot of hitting across the line, he is dead meat.

Why would we be worried? Do you think he is the first player to score a quickfire century (alright, he only got 91 but only because he ran out of runs) against Australia. Two other batsmen come to mind when thinking of KP's innings - Afridi and Kalitharana (ex SL wick/keeper) Both explosive batsmen but both sorted out in the end due to technical deficencies. Australia has overcome far superior batsmen to KP - Tendulkar, Dravid, Lara, Kallis, Sehwag and Jaysuria are just a few come to mind, so why would they be worried about a less able batsman like KP? Yeah, he can play the big shots and is a good ODI player - Like Andrew Symonds for example - but in tests? Well, bring him on i say.
