Aus 3-1.......Australia will last over the five test series......i expect the early tests to be a battle for ascendency......and i believe Australia will run away with it toward the end

Being married to an English woman has its moments during an Ashes series. Since 1989, when I took my wife to Lord's, her suffering began. It wasn't the sight of the inimitable baggy greens on that sunny morning that caused her unease. What has endured is listening to her countrymen groan as yet another boundary was stuck by Steve Waugh. This year it is different.

A resurgent England has brought, at least for a while, a new spring to my wife's step.
Found this in the oppinion section of the Age... Never seen that before..

What is telling every ex players who predicts England to regain the Ashes puts in load of if and buts in the equation.
The overwhelming opinion of experts makes it an Australian summer. Vaughan and company have got their work cut out to prove the experts wrong. This is not impossible England have got a number of very good players. Whether these players can pull it off at this level questionable. They certainly didn't convince in the one day series. When they were put on the back foot they didn't put the pressure back on the Aussies.
So on the evidence so far the ability to turn a backs to the wall positon right back on the Aussies hasn't been seen yet.

I remember my exam year was when the World Cup was in Australia.Every day/night game i was listening to the radio instead of doing lessons. All my classmates gave me away by asking the score when Botham bashed the Aussies.

First series or the new series, Beny? Just polished off the first series and first episode of the second series this week, you'll not be disappointed

I'm actually nervous about this morning. Which is bizarre, and quite wrong. All the more frustrating is that I'm in work, so TMS it is.

Like Kirsty siad.. I really hope we bat first... Its much more interesting to watch our side bat than bowl all day and be hit around the field...

over the top with England.

is it sunny in london as predicted? If so, let us bat. If not, let the staiyliens bat. let's hope the lord's crowd is v partisan...

this is it boys and girls.
over the top with England. the BIG Push.
I hope we are mean and give no quarter target bodies with our pace attack. That's a weapon they haven't got. But keep the ball up most of the time. And let them edge it. Quite a few of em love to drive and they can get out early.
