It's now been almost a ten minuite delay, with stiches being done on the pitch, surely this is not acceptable? He should have left the field retired hurt...

Ponting dropped on 0, smashed in the face...I have a horrible feeling he's going to get a ton. Hope I am wrong.

Mixture of very good deliveries, and some very ordinary deliveries doen the leg side, so brutal stull with GBH deserving his name.
No TV for over a for for me either, tell you what a lot of nearly playing on.

It's particularly nice given the tripe Brett Lee was coming out with the other day.

Well Pietersen can sigh with relief, his dropping of Ponting have not been expensive.

I'm going to buck the trend and actually say i think england have bowled well so far, yes they've bowled a few too many bad balls, but an average ball to anyone else is a bad ball and easy runs to an australian, these are the best batsmen in the world so not going to be too critical. We've bowled some cracking deliveries too and could easily have 3 or 4 wickets by now.

Pieterson was unlucky to drop ponting, what a game that would have made! good captaincy by vaughan to move him there, thorpe would have caught it obviously

I'm happy to see harmison be aggressive, and i'd say it was poor batting from the aussies that have seen hayden and ponting being hit (langer was just a ball he couldn't get out of the way of), I am quite disgusted at the cheering of the fans when they showed ponting bleeding on the big screens, very dissapointed.

Harmison has started well in his first spell, something i've never seen him do before, he's gone for some runs but he's bowled some stunning deliveries.. OMGOMGOGMGO as i type this he takes a wicket, YAYAYAAYY !!!

The thing with these australians though, we bowl well, get a lot of play and misses, get a lot of balls hitting the batsmen, a bit of late swing and yet they STILL manage to score at 5 an over. It's been a good contest so far, there is a little bit in the air for the bowlers but it's a good pitch, the bowlers have bowled some great balls and the batsmen (especially langer) have made some fantastic looking shots, true test match cricket between the number 1 and 2 sides, if it carries on like this for the rest of the series we're in for a fantastic summer no matter who wins, far better than the Oz v SA series.

yes please. Time to give Hoggy a break though I feel, and place a little trust in Jonesy. No need to tire them out, keep it rotating.
