Can't wait for this one especially for the first session. So often in test the first day and the first session sets the tone for the series, very important to get a jump on the oppostion and stay there the entire series which is what the Aussies do more often than not. I do think there is a bit of a doubt of the English batting especially the top order, but conversly some of the Aussie bowlers have struggled.

The smallest TV network in Australia has saved all the cricket lovers in Australia by showing it live after all the commercial stations passed it up. Will have many late nights over the next few weeks, but it is all worth it.

England must start well

It is imperative for England to start well, win the first session, the first day and so on. They need to win the toss, most likely bat and have Strauss and Tresco get them away to a good solid start. If they end up bowling, early wickets, tight bowling and don't let the Aussies post the massive total they usually do.

They cannot afford to lose the first test or I fear a one sided series.

Time for a final prediction, Australia 2 England 1.

I reckon a narrow win for the Aussies, they should still be good enough to take England out although not with the same ease they have enjoyed in the past.

Really, wow, so it's not really getting any air-time... and we complain about SKY - they dedicate an entire sports channle to it, over-night, ball-by-ball
