A bit of time carrying the drinks should make him realise.
But hopefully they keep picking him this summer. His replacement might score runs and we don't want that.

Of course. He's also one of those players you like to see walking back to the pavilion with a scowl on his smug face.

There's still not much consistancy with our bowlers. Still too many 4 balls, especially from Jones.

Yeah, I agree with you Pete. They're bowling OK to Martyn but Jones in particularl is bowling way too straight at Ponting. I know they're going for the lbw but they've got a 7-2 field and Ponting keeps getting 4 for it. If need be, bore the Aussies out and keep it outside off, they dont like defending for very long. Thats why I reckon that Flintoff is so good for us, he has the best control of our bowlers.

Sorry, got the wrong quote there.

They're still feeding Ponting on his legs which he looks to have got used to, while he looks flaky when it's a bit short outside off, what are Flintoff and Jones doing?

no idea, but vaughan needs to change something as they're just drifting along, australia are ticking the runs over, nothign fancy but no pressure, and we don't look like taking a wicket at the moment. Give the ball to giles with flintoff or harmison on at the other end, anything, just try something, don't let the game drift along as that only helps the aussies not us.

Ponting out. Caught by the sub fielder who had the widest grin on his face. Nice moment.
Australia need Marytn to dig in because out of form Clarke has arrived.

Ah, Ponting gone to guess what, something short outside off! Clarke has just taken one of his legs through midwicket for 4, and Harmison has just done a leg side bouncer for 4 byes. We really have got to get a grip on ourselves. The Aussies are doing nothing special at this point in time, we should be concentrating like mad to get ourselves on top which I believe our bowling attack is well capable of.
